The site is for travelers staying in Levi, or planning a trip there, who want to book one or two aurora evenings and are unsure which kind suits them. Some want the best chance of a sighting; others want a snowmobile ride, a campfire or a cabin evening that is good even if the lights never appear. We sort every tour into one of those two groups: aurora-first tours that follow the clear sky, and experience-first tours where the activity is the attraction.
How we choose and compare tours
We start from every Northern Lights listing for Levi on GetYourGuide and Viator, then compare them on what the listings and operators actually state:
- the listing data: duration, group size, pickup rule, inclusions such as thermal clothing and photos, age and health limits, and the first bookable date of the season;
- the operator’s own terms, including licence rules and damage excess for snowmobile safaris;
- the refund or rebooking rule, quoted in the listing’s own words, because “guaranteed” always means an operator’s refund promise and never that the aurora will appear;
- published traveler ratings and review counts on each platform, always shown with the number of reviews;
- the season window for each tour, since snow activities start weeks later than the minivan chases.
