Levi Northern Lights Tour (“we”, “us”) is an independent guide to Northern Lights tours from Levi, Finnish Lapland. This page explains what data this website handles and what is handled by the platforms we link to.

Bookings happen on other platforms

This website does not take bookings or payments. When you follow a link to book a tour or a room, you leave this site, and any personal or payment details you enter are collected by that platform under its own privacy policy:

We never receive your name, payment details, passport or ID numbers, or booking details from these platforms. We may receive anonymous, aggregated reports of bookings made through our links so that commissions can be paid.

What this website collects

  • Analytics: we measure how visitors use the site (pages viewed, time on page, approximate country or city, device type) to improve the content. These figures are not used to identify you.
  • Affiliate tracking: links to GetYourGuide, Viator and Stay22 carry a partner or campaign code so the platform can credit a booking to this site. The platform may set its own cookies when you arrive there.
  • Email: if you write to us, we keep your email address and message to reply to you.

Cookies

This site and the platforms it links to use cookies for analytics and for crediting bookings to our links. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them, although some embedded booking widgets and maps may not load.

Embedded content

Some pages show booking widgets and maps supplied by GetYourGuide, Viator or Stay22. These load from the provider’s servers and behave as if you had visited the provider’s own site, including any cookies it sets.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you can ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or object to its use. For data held by GetYourGuide, Viator, Stay22 or a booking site, contact that company directly. For emails you have sent us, write to info@levinorthernlightstour.com.

How long we keep data

We keep email correspondence for as long as needed to answer your question, and delete it on request. Analytics data is kept in aggregated form.

Children

This site is not aimed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
